Theatrical Performances

Limon Wissmann Productions produces theatrical performances honoring two American icons of popular music in their day. We offer the original cast recordings of these shows on Compact Disc. Both feature Robbie Limon in the title role.

Hank Williams, Sr.: A Tribute to the Master

From 'Lovesick Blues - The Life and Music of Hank Williams, Sr.', Robbie gives his award-winning characterization of Country Music's first super-star in ‘Tribute to the Master’. All the Hank, Sr. favorites you recall from the 1950s are here, including: Honk Tonk Blues, Setting the Woods on Fire, Mansion on the Hill, I Can't Help it if I'm Still in Love With you, Move It On Over, Jambalaya, Lovesick Blues, I'm So Lonesome I could Cry, Long Gone Lonesome Blues, Cold Cold Heart, Hey Good Looking, Your Cheating Heart, and I Saw The Light. Also included is a song Williams intended to record in 1953 but passed away before the recording session. 'You Can't Keep Me from Loving You' is accompanied by commentary from its writer, Country musician Buddy Allen Ricker. Excerpts from this album may be heard by clicking here.

An Evening With Buddy Holly Featuring Robbie Limon

'An Evening With Buddy Holly featuring Robbie Limon' contains 15 songs made popular by the Lubbock, Texas phenomenon who enjoyed only 18 months of national fame but influenced generations of rock and roll performers including the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. You will hear: Every Day, Heartbeat, It's So Easy, Rock Around With Ollie Vee, That'll Be the Day, Peggy Sue, Peggy Sue Got Married, Think It Over, Ready Teddy, Maybe Baby, It Doesn't Matter Anymore, Rave On, Not Fade Away, True Love Ways, and Oh Boy. Holly's recording and orchestration techniques were innovative for 1957-1959 and this collection remains faithful to the sound and feel of those early days of rock and roll.
